I work in the area of applied topology, with a focus on topological data analysis, as well as some aspects of applied dynamical systems.
Many C-MĀIKI projects produce complex datasets requiring non-standard data analysis techniques. My work on developing novel topological and geometric methods for analyzing data can help elucidate otherwise hidden patterns within such datasets, thus giving us more insight into the complex underlying environmental processes.
